Tori Spelling got really into friend Denise Richards’ OnlyFans page — so much so that her assistant thought the purchase was made by her then-husband, Dean McDermott.

“So I went on to OnlyFans and [there’s] beautiful pictures of her,” Spelling, 51, said on the Monday, February 17 episode of her “MisSpelling” podcast. “I subscribed and at the time, I didn’t know how it worked.”

At the time, Spelling and McDermott, 58, were still together and enjoying Christmas dinner as a family. As they gathered around for the holiday, the topic of OnlyFans came up. Spelling defended the platform since she has many fans — including Richards — who are featured on it.

So to prove to her family it was a great side hustle, she signed up for Richards’ page. While exploring Richards’ profile, Spelling recalled a DM option and decided to shoot Richards, 54, and show her some support.

“OnlyFans, they are brilliant. Cause let me just tell you, they get you hooked,” she quipped. “Because it alludes to the fact [that] if you subscribe and pay a fee you’ll get something special from Denise. So I waited and waited.”

Spelling joked that she was a “dummy” for thinking the OnlyFans DMs were going to be like her “actual DMs,” and that Richards would “get right back” to her.

It wasn’t until later that evening that she received a response from Richards, which included an option for a “tease” that would unlock more content for an additional fee. Spelling decided to pay for more content. While Spelling knew what she was getting into, her assistant was unaware of her boss’ Christmas fun.

“Long story short, the next day my business manager calls me and she goes, ‘I don’t know how to put this’ and I was like, ‘What’s happening?’” she recalled. “And she’s like, ‘I think Dean is on OnlyFans looking at girls.”

Spelling laughed at the memory before recalling that she asked her business manager to explain the reason why she believed her at-the-time husband was perusing women on the internet.

“She goes, ‘Yeah, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what to tell you,’” the actress reflected. “And I go, ‘How much was spent?’ And she was like ‘$451.28.’ And I go, ‘Yeah.’”

Spelling confirmed she was aware of the purchase and explained that the charge was from her account, not her then-husband’s. She went on to admit that she went down a “rabbit hole” paying and “tipping” to get more content from Richards.

“I don’t know what happened,” Spelling said. “I spent all the money.”

Spelling and McDermott tied the knot in May 2006 and share five children: Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 13, and Finn, 12. McDermott announced in June 2023 that the pair were calling it quits after 17 years of marriage. Spelling made things official when she filed for divorce in March 2024.
