USMS said that Crawford County Prosecutor Kevin Holmes filed a petition to revoke Hall’s suspended sentence for violating the conditions of his release.
VAN BUREN, Ark. — A Van Buren man who pleaded guilty in December 2024 to charges including attempted human trafficking has been arrested in Florida by the United States Marshals Service (USMS).
A release from USMS said that Michael Wayne Hall was located and arrested in Orlando on Jan. 22, 2025.
On Dec. 17, 2024, Hall pleaded guilty to attempted human trafficking, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of terroristic threatening. Prosecutors said Hall was making “hundreds of thousands of dollars” selling pornography that depicted “legal-age girls acting as teenagers.”
According to an affidavit, one of the victims said OnlyFans was Hall’s full-time job when they moved to Van Buren in 2023.
After his conviction, Hall was considered a habitual offender “for all future criminal activity.” He was given 120 days in county jail and a 10-year suspended imposition of sentence.
Additionally, Hall was ordered not to “film, participate in, direct, upload or transmit pornography of any matter.” He was also prohibited from buying or selling it.
The release from USMS said that Crawford County Prosecutor Kevin Holmes filed a petition to revoke Hall’s suspended sentence for violating the conditions of his release.
The filing said Hall allegedly committed new offenses of harassing communications and unlawful distribution of sexual images or recordings, as well as violating the terms of his suspended sentence.
“[Hall] has asked, solicited, suggested, transmitted and/or engaged in pornography,” the filing said.
USMS said that after a warrant was issued, law enforcement discovered that Hall had left the state. Hall now faces 36 years in Arkansas prison, according to officials.
Hall was named in several Crawford County cases that detailed abuse and threats. More on his initial arrest in 2024 can be found here.
