Harry Potter alum Jessie Cave is launching a unique side gig.
The actress, 37, best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter movie series, announced on Monday, March 10 that she is starting an OnlyFans account for “hair stuff.”
In a comedic clip shared to Instagram, Cave has a conversation about her latest venture to a male friend off camera. “I’m starting an OnlyFans,” she says while sitting on her bed in a multicolored peasant top while playing with her hair. “Hair stuff.”
“So stuff like this,” the comedian explains while noisily brushing her hair. “Just going like that. That’s the kind of thing.”
“Have you read about this? Is this a thing?” her friend asks.

“The best quality hair sounds,’ Cave says. “You need to hear the brushing.” She continues to explain that she can’t afford a microphone for the project, but she will be “swishing” her hair, among other things, on the content subscription platform.
“It is a fetish,” Cave insists. “I think, I hope. Slutty Mormon. I’m going for a very pure aesthetic.” Putting her hair in front of her face, she adds, “Like, I could hide behind it.” Her friend then asks, “What are you hoping for from all this?” and she explains, “Just very sensual stuff with my hair.”
The actress says that she believes “this could make the big bucks.” Her friend, however, is skeptical of her plan and asks if she’ll be including “any feet or bums and anything like that.”
“No, no, no,” she says, to which he suggests, “I think you should get your bum out.”
Cave captioned the post, “I’m starting an onlyfans for my hair. It’s niche even for me. Join me on this strange new journey. 🩵💙💜🖤 @onlyfans link in bio. 🔒🔓🔐🔏.”
Her profile on the video hosting service reiterates her claims in the video, reading, “Former Harry Potter actress, writer, doodler and now Only Fans Long Hair Specialist. I do NICHE HAIR CONTENT which you may well quite like. How magical! Owl drop near daily.”

The actress continued to write that she “will not do explicit sexual content,” although she “might” record hair content in her underwear. She added that she will respond to direct messages, adding, “Let’s get to know each other!”
“If you have a hair thing, this is the place for you,” Cave wrote. “If you want something specific, you can message me and I will be happy to see what we can do.”
The London native also spoke about creating an OnlyFans on the latest episode of her podcast Before We Break Up Again that she co-hosts with her partner Alfie Brown, with whom she shares four kids.
“I’m launching a hair OnlyFans that is entirely for hair based content,” she said in the episode. “It’s very much geared toward people who have an interest or fetish with hair. I do a lot of videos with my hair on Instagram and I have now for a while. I just noticed that I always just get comments. They’re never, like, sexually depraved or lascivious. It’s never dirty comments, but I do get lots of interest in in the hair thing and I just thought, ‘F— it, I’m going to do something that is very niche.’ ”
Cave continued to explain how she hopes it will impact her life. “I really am choosing to think of this as an empowering moment for me because I have been this very straight, prim actress for a lot of my career and this is very much a way of me saying, ‘Okay, I’m doing something that is not normal.’ This is weird and me and a bit kinky. And why not?”
She added that she felt inspired by singers Lily Allen and Kate Nash, both of whom have been candid about their experiences on OnlyFans.
