Lamar Odom is taking his next shot off the court. According to TMZ‘s staff, the former Los Angeles Lakers star has launched an OnlyFans page, which the outlet calls a first for an NBA star. TalkBasket‘s Erikas Polockas picked up the news hours later, describing Odom as the first former NBA player to join the subscription platform.

An open book with new chapters

Odom isn’t promising anything specific, and he seems to like it that way. He told TMZ that people hear the word OnlyFans and “automatically think one thing,” but that he is “not here to tell you what you will or won’t see.”

He framed the page as a look at parts of his life fans haven’t seen yet. “I’ve lived a pretty wild life, and trust me, there are still a few surprises left,” he said. “I’ve always been an open book, but there are some chapters people haven’t seen yet.”

Risqué, but not too wild for now

As for what subscribers will actually get, people close to Odom told TMZ that he will post risqué content, but “nothing too crazy for now.” TalkBasket’s report echoes that, noting that nothing especially explicit is planned at launch.

A couples play

Odom isn’t going it alone. His girlfriend, Rachel Bradley, has started her own OnlyFans page too, and TMZ was told the two may film content together down the road. That’s a familiar move on the platform, where creators often team up to cross-promote and pull each other’s fans across pages.

Why it matters for the creator economy

Odom, a two-time NBA champion with the Lakers, has spent years living very publicly, from reality TV to tabloid headlines, so a direct-to-fan page is a natural fit for someone whose story already draws attention. His arrival adds to a steady stream of athletes and celebrities treating subscription platforms as a real business rather than a punchline. For OnlyFans, a recognizable sports name helps keep pushing its image toward mainstream celebrity content, a lane it has been working hard to build.

The takeaway

Odom is betting that fans will pay for the parts of his story they haven’t heard yet, with the content kept tame at first and room to grow, possibly alongside Bradley. Whether he becomes a top earner or a short-lived novelty will come down to how much of those unseen chapters he is actually willing to share.
