Annie Knight is on honeymoon in Boracay, and she is not dodging the story that helped kick her engagement into gear. According to PerthNow‘s Zach Margolius, the Australian OnlyFans creator confirmed that she flirted with and kissed U.S. podcaster Ryan Pownall just days before her now-husband, Henry Brayshaw, asked her out — then proposed.

What Knight told the press

Knight told news.com.au the timeline Pownall laid out was “pretty much all true.” She met him in Cancún while she and Brayshaw were still best friends, then reunited in Los Angeles for what started as a date and turned into a group dinner.

“There was some flirting and kissing, but nothing more than that,” she said. About a day later, Brayshaw asked her to be his girlfriend. Roughly 48 hours after that, he proposed.

“As much as I hate to admit it, Ryan flirting with me was probably the exact catalyst that made Henry finally pull the trigger on dating me after 10 years of friendship,” Knight told PerthNow.

How Daily Mail framed the same week

According to Daily Mail‘s Marta Jary, Knight also confirmed Pownall’s account to the Mail: the dinner included flirting in front of Brayshaw, and seeing her with Ryan “made Henry jealous” and helped him realize he was in love with her.

Jary reports the couple are now honeymooning in Boracay after their October 1 wedding at The Valley Estate in Currumbin Valley on Australia’s Gold Coast. Knight posted sunset dinners, boat rides, and poolside shots with the caption “Perfect honeymoon after six months of nonstop craziness.”

Married — and still on the platforms

The personal drama sits next to a career update fans have been watching. According to Us Weekly‘s Ryan Hudgins and Tufayel Ahmed, Knight told the Daily Mail after the wedding that she is staying on adult platforms but winding down the headline-making stunts.

“I will still be on the platforms, but, yeah, I am winding down the big stunts,” she said. “I will be too busy being a wife to do that!”

Fellow creator Lily Phillips stood as a bridesmaid at the ceremony, and Brayshaw’s estranged father, retired cricket commentator James Brayshaw, was not invited — a family rift Knight has said predates her career.

The takeaway

Knight’s honeymoon posts look like classic newlywed content. The same week, she owned a messier origin story: a kiss that made her best friend jealous enough to propose. For a creator whose brand has been built on extreme public stunts, the quieter line — stay on OnlyFans, drop the biggest challenges — may be the bigger shift.
