Ireland has a population of about five million people, but when it comes to OnlyFans, it spends like a much bigger country. A new estimate puts the Irish just behind Finland for spending per person in the whole European Union.

According to Business Plus‘ Cormac Cahill, Irish users are forecast to spend almost €25.7 million ($29.9 million) on OnlyFans in 2026, up 9.2% from 2025. The numbers come from “OnlyFans Wrapped 2026,” a study by the site OnlyGuider, which covers 175 countries with at least 100,000 adults.

Fourth in the world per head

Cahill reports that Ireland ranks fourth globally for spending per 10,000 adults, at a projected $74,672. That’s nearly three times Germany’s estimated $26,405. Finland is the only EU country ahead of Ireland on that measure.

Dublin carries a lot of the load. The capital is forecast to account for $13.7 million in OnlyFans spending this year, more than the $12.8 million projected for all of Serbia. Dublin’s spending is up 13.4% year on year to $151,534 per 10,000 adults, which ranks the city 31st in the world.

OnlyGuider estimates there are about 461,000 Irish fan accounts, and that Irish users spent a combined $73.9 million on the platform from 2023 through 2025.

Messages and tips beat subscriptions

The breakdown shows where creators really earn. According to Business Plus, Irish fans are expected to spend $20.9 million on direct messages, pay-per-view content and tips in 2026, compared with $9 million on monthly subscriptions. Men are projected to account for $25.4 million of the total, women $3 million and other users $1.5 million.

Switzerland is spending big too

Ireland isn’t the only smaller European country showing up near the top. According to Gazeta Express, Swiss users spent 41.49 million Swiss francs on OnlyFans in 2026, placing Switzerland seventh in the world for total spending and fifth in Europe per capita. The outlet reports Swiss spending rose 19.2% from the previous year, and that Zurich ranks third among European cities, behind Milan and Helsinki.

Less searching, more spending

Globally, OnlyGuider forecasts record OnlyFans spending of $8.56 billion in 2026, up 10.2% from the $7.76 billion reported for 2025, with the United States accounting for $5.26 billion, or 61% of the total. Yet Business Plus notes a strange split: global searches for the OnlyFans brand fell 17.4% in 2025 and dropped another 24.3% in the first eight months of 2026.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these are estimates, not official OnlyFans figures. Cahill writes that the study used Google’s TimesFM artificial intelligence model, along with historical spending data, to forecast the 2026 numbers.

The takeaway

Fewer people may be Googling OnlyFans, but the ones already subscribed are spending more, and most of that money moves through messages, pay-per-view and tips rather than monthly subs. For creators, that’s a reminder that loyal fans and good one-on-one engagement pay more than raw traffic. And if your analytics show a surprising number of fans from Ireland or Switzerland, now you know why.
