A Missouri substitute teacher who lost her classroom assignments over her OnlyFans page says the fallout turned into a full-time payday. According to Daily Mail‘s Emma Richter, Sheena Sittner, 42, of Ballwin now brings in “about $20,000 a month, maybe a little more.”

How the job ended

Sittner subbed at Parkway Schools through staffing contractor Kelly Education, not the district itself. The New York Post‘s Ella Morrison reported, citing St. Louis station KTVI, that Kelly emailed her she was under suspension pending termination and told her to “refrain from contacting any school or districts.” She had run the account for about two years to supplement her income.

Sittner told the Daily Mail two teachers were behind it: one found her page and another urged her to report it because Sittner “kept picking up sub jobs.” She said classroom pay was “a few cents above minimum wage.”

Still a school volunteer

Hoodline reported that Kelly Education later clarified its warning applied only to her professional role and did not limit her rights as a parent. Parkway told the Daily Mail she remains “an active volunteer in our schools” after completing the required background check and training. The story has since reached national outlets, with The Washington Post‘s Dan Simmons reporting that her business is booming.

The takeaway

Sittner’s case joins a string of St. Louis-area teachers pushed out over OnlyFans, and it shows the math many educators are doing: when the side gig outearns the classroom many times over, losing the classroom job stops looking like a setback.
