A Mom’s Terrifying Encounter at a Hotel In Spain

Rara Armstrong, a 39-year-old self-employed model and content creator from Gloucester, Gloucestershire had booked a family vacation through the travel site LoveHolidays and was staying at the Hotel Ambassador Playa II in Benidorm, Spain, in May.

The ordeal began when a hotel worker found Armstrong’s OnlyFans account using her booking details and began acting inappropriately. “He was really overly friendly, asking for my number and to take me out for coffee,” Armstrong recalled. Even after she refused, explaining she was traveling with her son, the man persisted, creepily suggesting the boy could come along. “I was, like, ‘No,’ and I felt really uncomfortable,” she said. “He just wouldn’t drop it.”

Things took an even creepier turn hours later when Armstrong discovered that the worker had subscribed to her OnlyFans account. “He was messaging me [on OnlyFans] and saying, ‘Oh, I can’t believe you’re in Spain.’ At first, I didn’t click that it was him,” Armstrong explained. “I was, like, ‘Oh, have you seen me at the airport or somewhere?’ and he said, ‘Yeah, you’re in the hotel where I work,’ and I thought, ‘Oh, my God.’”

Just Wait… It Gets Creepier

Armstrong didn’t make a formal complaint immediately, hoping not to ruin the start of her vacation. But things escalated on the final day of their five-day stay. She returned to the room to find a bottle of Prosecco left by the same staff member as an “apology.” Feeling uneasy, she set up her son’s iPad to record the room while they were out for the evening. What the camera captured was nothing short of shocking.

Just 15 minutes after they left, the hotel employee entered their room. “He could be seen rummaging through what Armstrong said was her dirty laundry bag, pulling out her G-string thong, sniffing it, and stuffing it in his back pocket,” she described. “He sniffed them a few times. He carries on snooping; I don’t know what he was looking for. As he leaves, he sniffs them again and puts them in his back pocket,” Armstrong said, adding, “It was crazy. I wasn’t expecting something like that.”

Armstrong immediately felt “violated” and “scared,” wondering, “If I’d been on my own, would he have come in when I was asleep?”

What Did She Do After She Saw The Video?

The next morning, after Armstrong reported the incident, LoveHolidays acted swiftly. The staff member was fired. “We are very sorry to hear of Ms. Armstrong’s experience while on holiday,” a LoveHolidays spokesperson stated. “We have fully investigated the issue with the hotel and are confident the appropriate action has been taken to ensure this does not happen again.”

But for Armstrong, it was too little too late. “It just really annoyed me because I thought I should have just reported him straight away when he was inappropriate on day one,” she admitted. She felt she couldn’t contact the police, given that the incident occurred on the last day, and she had a flight to catch.

A Warning To Other Women From Armstrong

Armstrong now urges other women to stay vigilant and immediately report any inappropriate behavior. “Maybe carry a door lock [for] protection or something. And maybe record your room — that seems to be a good thing to do so then you have evidence, and the hotel can’t deny that it’s happened,” she advises. “If someone is being creepy towards you, report them straight away.”
