HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (CBC/CNN/CNN Newsource/WKRC) – An OnlyFans content creator allegedly filmed explicit content at a client’s home while dog-sitting.

Amanda Joudrey LeBlanc is urging caution after discovering her home was used as a backdrop for explicit videos posted on OnlyFans without her consent.

LeBlanc told CBC News she was shocked to see her distinct bathroom tiles in the background of videos promoted on social media.

“I was so shocked by it. I am still so shocked by it to be honest with you,” she told the outlet.

The videos were uploaded to an account belonging to the dog-sitter she had hired. LeBlanc described the situation as a violation of trust.

“This person was paid to do a job in people’s homes that we trust them to be in. And we trust them to respect their homes and trust them to respect our privacy, etcetera. And so it just feels kind of, for lack of a better term, violating,” LeBlanc told CBC.

LeBlanc requested the content be removed, and the dog-sitter complied. However, the Nova Scotia RCMP told CBC they could not determine if a crime was committed, as the incident was not reported to police. The dog-sitter did not respond to requests for comment.

Wayne MacKay, a legal expert and Professor Emeritus at Dalhousie University, told CBC the situation likely does not constitute a criminal matter but raises significant privacy concerns.

“One of the terms they use in the court cases that talk about this tort of privacy is intrusion into seclusion. And your home is your private space, your ultimate private space, your castle,” MacKay told CBC.

Lisa Dawn Hamilton, a human sexuality researcher and professor at Mount Allison University, emphasized the lack of consent in this case.

“If this was a film shoot or a porn shoot for any other company, it would involve contracts and money exchanged… and that clearly didn’t happen in this case,” Hamilton told the outlet.

LeBlanc hopes her experience serves as a warning to others about the importance of vetting individuals allowed into their homes.

“You do you. Everyone can do whatever they want. I don’t care. People have to make money. People like to do that. Good on them. That’s that’s on you. I just don’t want to done in my home,” LeBlanc told the outlet.

When speaking to CBC, an OnlyFans employee stated they would investigate the situation if reported but could not confirm whether any company policies were violated. LeBlanc identified her home in the videos by subscribing to the dog-sitter’s page.
